History

Hersha Hospitality Trust was created in partnership with Goldman Sachs in 2004. It is one of the largest hotel real estate investment trusts in the United States and has an extensive portfolio of assets across six states, including New York, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, New Jersey, and Florida. As of the end of 2020, the company owned 115 hotels with 12,187 guestrooms.
