History

High Liner Foods was established in 1896, when Andrew Cate started the business with a fishing vessel. In the 1950s, High Liner diversified its operations to include value-added processing and retail sales. Today, High Liner Foods is an international leader in the frozen seafood industry, with a wide variety of branded seafood products sold through major retailers, club and food service channels in North America and around the world.
