History

Highwoods Properties, Inc. was founded in 1994 by Jerry Kline, Bill Pollard and Charlie Diehl. Highwoods began with a $50 million equity offering on the New York Stock Exchange and has since grown to over $5 billion in assets. The company currently owns, leases and manages over 30 million square feet of properties in 11 states and Washington, D.C.
