Huaxin Cement was established in 1989, and has since become the largest producer of cement in China. The company was initially funded by the Chinese government and by several large corporations from around the world. In 1993, the company went public and has since continued to expand its operations and market share. In 2018, Huaxin Cement was the world’s seventh-largest cement company.
