As the Director, he also headed and organized campaigns that increased the number of in-kind donations for homelessness programs.
As the Digital Marketing Strategist (2015-2018) and Information Technology Manager (2014-2018) at Shimoda Design Group, a design firm based in Los Angeles, California that specializes in architecture, interior design, and branding, Calderon developed a deep understanding of the technology industry and his design skills in sales, marketing, and business development.
From 2018-2020, he was Head of Marketing, Brand and Marketing Strategy at Sesameseed, a blockchain organization operating nodes on multiple blockchains, and developing decentralized technology.
