History

KPIT was founded in 1990 in the city of Pune, India by two engineers, Kishor Patil and Ravi Pandit.The company was originally called KPIT Cummins and was an offshoot of the Pune Cummins dealership established by Kishor Patil's father in the 1970s.In 2010, KPIT Technologies acquired German embedded technology company, eldec, to enter the European market.
