History

iRhythm was founded in 2009 and is headquartered in San Francisco, California. The Company was founded by Dr. Ullas Naik, a veteran of the medical device industry, and his co-founder, Dr. David Rubin, Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco. In 2012, iRhythm created the Zio XT patch, an electronic monitoring patch that passively records and stores electrocardiogram (ECG) readings for 14 days.
