History

KAMAZ was founded in 1976 in Naberezhnye Chelny, in the Republic of Tatarstan and is currently the largest manufacturer of automobiles in Russia. Since 2009 the company has been part of Russian Technologies and is currently listed on the Moscow Exchange. KAMAZ vehicles have seen extensive use in the Russian Armed Forces.
