Kaveri Seed Company Limited (KSCL) began in 1973 with its first branch in Hyderabad, India. In 1989, the company went public with a Rs. 14-crore issue at a premium of Rs. 20 per share. The company has since then grown to be one of the largest seed companies in the country. It has extensive research and development, and widespread presence across the length and breadth of India.
