KlimaInvest firmly believes that limiting global warming is one of the biggest challenges of our time. With well-developed concepts, we want to achieve greater use of ecology and climate protection in companies and energy providers. The long-term improvement of the electricity mix in favor of renewable energies, the expansion and promotion of regenerative power plants is our central goal.

The demand for renewable energy as well as climate-neutral gas is steadily increasing. At the same time the interest of the population regarding the origin of ecology is also on the rise. Therefore, in collaboration with energy providers we work to develop individual strategies which increase energy efficiency, reduce CO2 emissions and thus take a step towards climate protection.

KlimaInvest supports energy suppliers with the conception, administration and communication of successful ecological energy products. Among other things we supply renewable energy certificates according to TÜV Nord and TÜV Süd as well as our own renewable energy certification marks according to TÜV Nord guidelines, which are recognized on the market.

In the field of renewable gas and carbon neutrality we provide energy suppliers and companies with CO2 reduction rights as an ecological addition to their natural gas portfolio or offset the generated emissions within the company. For this purpose, the CO2 emissions are calculated and subsequently compensated for in global climate protection projects, which have the additional benefit of bringing about an improvement in the living conditions of local people.

In 2009, Jobst Jenckel and Kai Ristau founded KlimaInvest Green Concepts GmbH in Hamburg with the aim of actively promoting the energy transition in Germany. Johannes Schimler later joined the management and owner team. For years, KlimaInvest has been one of the leading service providers in the area of ??climate protection and sustainable energy supply for municipal utilities in Germany.

With over 10 years of market experience and a continuous focus on climate protection, we are very pleased that we are able to relieve the burden on more than 500 satisfied energy suppliers every day on the way to a clean future. We meet the increasingly complex requirements for energy delivery with our modular and flexible product world, which enables us to always offer you suitable solutions.

With our modular ecology portfolio for municipal utilities and energy suppliers, we are continually increasing the share and expansion of renewable energies in Germany.

Together with our climate partners, more than 35 million tons of CO 2 emissions have already been saved or offset in a climate-effective way through the use of KlimaInvest products .
