Libsyn started in 2004. Since its inception, the company's platform has evolved across four generations of software not only for podcasting, but for distribution and monetization of digital media. Libsyn was the first platform to join the Apple Podcast Directory, and the first podcast network to become IAB compliant with the release of its fourth generation platform, Libsyn 5.
