History

Lithium Americas was formed in 2011 as a spinoff from Rodinia Lithium Inc., an exploration and development company focused on the development of lithium deposits. Lithium Americas has since acquired and developed three major lithium projects in South America: the Cauchari-Olaroz project in Argentina, the Thacker Pass project in Nevada, and the Maricunga project in Chile.
