History
Localiza was founded in 1973 with one car and a bold vision to revolutionize the Brazilian car rental industry, the first in Latin America. With the introduction of technology, the company rapidly grew, reaching 100 locations by the end of the decade. In the 1990s, Localiza expanded its presence to more than 500 locations across Brazil, cementing its status as the largest car rental company in Latin America. In the last decade, the company has continued to grow, reaching more than 110 cities in Brazil.
