LUKB was founded in 1872 as the Cantonal Bank for the Canton of Lucerne and has subsequently grown to become one of the leading banks in Switzerland. The bank is majority owned by the Canton of Lucerne which holds a 71.5% stake. The bank offers an array of services ranging from private banking to corporate finance, corporate banking and securities services.
