History

In May 2017, Bell Canada acquired Manitoba Telecom Services (MTS). As a result of the acquisition, Manitoba Telecom Services was rebranded as Bell MTS in October 2017. Former MTS stores were rebranded as Bell MTS locations and customer service operations were brought in line with Bell's policies and procedures. The merger with Bell marked the end of MTS as a separate brand.
