He has a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, specialising in Cheminformatics, and a Postgraduate degree in Management, specialising in Finance from the Indian Institute of Management in Bangalore.
Biography
Mr. Mandeep did his Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering from MGM College of Technology and Management in 2001. He, then, specialised in Cheminformatics from the University of Amsterdam.
He, then, worked at various managerial roles and became the CEO of Sunny Enterprises, the manufacturers of speciality paints, inks, commodity trading, spices and coffee traders.
In 2010, he established Ecofeet India, a company that manufactures and exports eco freindly footwear using natural fibres and handicrafts like jute, canvas, etc. using ethnic arts and integrating with the fashion industry. In turn, the company helps in the upliftment the lower sections of society and completing the Corporate social responsibilities (CSR) of clients and partners.
Mr. Mandeep was the Indian Representative at the Georgian National Investment Agency and represented India and the Middle East at Brasov International Film Festival & Market in 2012.
He founded Georgia India Joint Business Council, to promote of trade and commerce between India and Georgia on both government and non-governmental levels for the benefit of all members involved. This included organising trade fairs and B2B events to propagate and promote business interests between the two countries, as well as offering assistance to member companies and organisations to facilitate mutually beneficial business opportunities. The aim of this Council is to assist with joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and imports and exports between India and Georgia.
Since 2016, Mr. Mandeep held various positions at Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture. His efforts were focussed on creating a think tank for development of regional aviation connectivity and liaison with state government of Maharashtra and facilitate progress in all sectors for sustainable prosperity through collaborative efforts, knowledge-based skills, modern technology and ethical means.
He became the Chairman of the International Relations Committee at Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture (MACCIA) and the Special Executive Officer of Government of Maharashtra (GoM) due to his dedication towards the government initiatives.
Since 2022, he is also the Ambassador of Indian Knowledge System (IKS), an innovative cell under Ministry of Education (MoE) at AICTE, New Delhi. The unit was established to promote interdisciplinary research on all aspects of IKS, preserve and disseminate IKS for further research and societal applications. It is actively engaged for spreading the rich heritage of our country and traditional knowledge in the field of Arts and literature, Agriculture, Basic Sciences, Engineering & Technology, Architecture, Management, Economics, etc.
Since 2018, Mr. Mandeep is the President of Indian Chamber of International Business, and organisation set up in 2007 by leading industrialists of Mumbai, Indian Chamber of International Business and has now grown to 8 states and 39 countries. The organisation is based on the belief that the scope for development is immense and strives to bring up the industry and services sector of India by bringing them at par with the world.
