History

Marathon Gold was founded in 1957 and has an extensive exploration and development history, targeting properties across the Americas. Over the years, the company had two distinct phases: first, as an Argentinian and South American focused explorer and developer, and second, as a Canadian exploration company. In 2015, Marathon Gold acquired the Valentine project, while launching its next chapter as a Canada-focused gold exploration and development company. The Valentine Project is Marathon Gold’s highest priority asset, with promising early drilling results and substantial potential for a mining operation.
