History

The Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) was set up in 2003 with headquarters in Mumbai. It is regulated by the Forward Markets Commission (FMC) and is a registered Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) with the Global LEI System. MCX is a publicly traded company with its shares listed on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
