The Life Science segment offers bulk antigens, antibodies, PCR/qPCR reagents, isothermal reagents, nucleotides, and bioresearch reagents used by in vitro diagnostic manufacturers, as well as researchers in immunological and molecular tests for human, animal, plant, and environmental applications. Meridian Bioscience, Inc. was incorporated in 1976 and is headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Meridian Bioscience, Inc. was founded in 1976, and has since grown to become an international life science company with a portfolio of diagnostic test kits, purified reagents and related products and biopharmaceutical enabling technologies, which it sells in some 160 countries. The company has three main operating divisions: Life Science, Diagnostics and Virology.
