Millcon Steel was founded in 1966 as a joint venture between the Thai government and the Japanese Mitsui Group. The company was initially focused on producing hot-rolled coils for the automotive industry, but has since expanded its production capabilities to include other types of steel products. Today, the company is considered one of the largest steel producers in Thailand.
