History

Mishra Dhatu Nigam Ltd was established in 1973 by the Government of India for filling the gap for supply of special steels and superalloys for India’s strategic sectors like defense and nuclear power. It is self-reliant and has mastered the process for production of superalloys and titanium. It has become synonymous with titanium and specialty alloys being the largest producer in India.
