Nation Media Group is the largest independent media house in East and Central Africa with operations in print, broadcast and digital media. It also offers outdoor advertising, online services and various other forms of brand-building.

History

Nation Media Group was founded in 1959 by His Highness the Aga Khan. The nation's flagship, the Daily Nation, was established in 1960 and has been one of the biggest media houses in East and Central Africa. In 1993, the Nation Broadcasting Division was launched with the aim of complementing the print media division. It currently operates three channels in Kenya: NTV, K24 Television and QTV.
