The company was formerly known as Sichuan New Hope Agribusiness Co., Ltd. New Hope Liuhe Co., Ltd. was incorporated in 1998 and is headquartered in Chengdu, China.
History

New Hope Liuhe was founded in 1982 in Sichuan Province, China, by Liu Yonghao as a small feed grain business. Since then, the company has grown steadily, entering international markets in the late 2000s and becoming one of the largest animal feed and agricultural products companies in China. In 2020, New Hope Liuhe successfully listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, becoming the first agricultural and food company from mainland China to do so.
