History

Nippon Paper Group was founded in 1921 and has since grown to become one of the largest Japanese paper manufacturers. The company changed its name to Nippon Paper Industries Co., Ltd. in 1949 and has since developed numerous businesses, ranging from printing and civil engineering to airborne wind turbines. Nippon Paper Group has also revolutionized the way paper is manufactured, introducing the Integrated Pulp & Paper System (IPPS) that utilizes state-of-the-art technologies and sustainability. The company currently operates in five different countries and has a strong international network with over 3,000 suppliers worldwide.
