History

Nomad Foods was founded in 2014 by Barclays Private Equity. Nomad Foods has since acquired several leading frozen food companies including Findus in Italy and Birds Eye in the UK and Germany. In 2015, Nomad Foods acquired the Iglo Group, one of the leading frozen food businesses in Europe and the world. Nomad Foods now operates in 13 countries across Europe and collectively has 17 million customers and 3,500 employees.
