History
Founded in 1976, Northern Power Systems designs, builds and manufactures clean, advanced technology wind turbines for a wide variety of applications. In 2015, the company launched its NPS 100, a single turbine that can provide dynamic grid support services thanks to its proprietary LVRT (low voltage ride through) platform. Northern Power Systems' products are in use in North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. The company is based in Barre, Vermont.
