Nur Izatul Fitri began her academic journey with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy (Hons) from Universiti Utara Malaysia, where she laid the foundation for her career in financial management and auditing. Building on this, she pursued further education, attaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Heriot-Watt University and a Master of Laws (LL.M) in Business Law from International Islamic University Malaysia. She also holds the Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc.

Her professional qualifications include being a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and Chartered Accountant (CA). Her initial experiences in consulting and auditing provided a strong foundation for her subsequent roles in various prominent organisations.

In 2009, she joined Lotte Chemical Titan (M) Sdn. Bhd. as a Senior Executive in Internal Audit, followed by a position as Assistant Manager of Risk Management at Chemical Company of Malaysia Berhad. Her tenure at PETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad as a Senior Internal Auditor further expanded her expertise in managing complex audit assignments and risk assessments.

From 2014 to 2015, Nur Izatul Fitri served as Vice President of Internal Audit at Iskandar Regional Development Authority, where she played a pivotal role in shaping the organisation’s internal audit framework and risk management strategies. She then moved to Themed Attractions Resorts & Hotels Sdn Bhd as Assistant Vice President of Group Internal Audit, where she contributed to refining audit practices and enhancing operational efficiencies.

Her significant role as Chief Internal Auditor at Hengyuan Refining Company Berhad (formerly Shell Refining Company Berhad) from 2018 to 2022 involved overseeing comprehensive internal audit functions and driving improvements in corporate governance

Currently, Nur Izatul Fitri holds the position of Director of Risk & Integrity at MRANTI. Before this role, she was the Director of Integrity & Corporate Assurance at MRANTI, instrumental in reinforcing the organisation’s risk management and integrity frameworks.
