Olaplex was founded by chemists Dean and Robert Reece in 2014. The duo developed an innovative product that would become the very first of its kind, the Olaplex Hair Perfecting Treatment. The product would form strong bonds between the broken, damaged or chemically treated hair while rehabilitating it to keep it healthy and strong. In 2020, after gaining tremendous success and a cult-like following from their customers and salons, Olaplex debuted their first retail line and expanded their offerings.
