The company originally focused on supplying engineering services to the oil and gas industry. In 1982, Petrosea commenced construction services, followed by the initiation of mining activities two years later. By the 90s, Petrosea was firmly established as one of the leading mining and construction companies in Indonesia, with operations reaching beyond Southeast Asia and into the Middle East, Asia, the Pacific and the Americas.
