In 2020, Polimi was the first European Business School to become a B Corp certified business.
History
POLIMI Graduate School of Management was established in 1979 as MIP Politecnico di Milano Graduate School of Business. Founded as a non-profit Consortia Limited Company, it was formed through a collaboration between Politecnico di Milano, one of Italy's top universities, and a group of prominent Italian and multinational companies.
Situated in Milan, it boasts a comprehensive range of more than 40 master's degree programs, including prestigious MBA and EMBA programs. In addition, it provides a diverse catalog of over 200 open programs and customized training courses tailored to meet the specific needs of companies.
POLIMI Graduate School of Management, as part of the School of Management of Politecnico di Milano, holds the “Triple Crown”, i.e., the three most prestigious international awards for Business Schools, EQUIS, AMBA, and AACSB.
In 2020, POLIMI Graduate School of Management achieved another significant milestone by becoming the first European business school to receive B Corp certification.
In May 2022, MIP Politecnico di Milano Graduate School of Business rebranded as POLIMI Graduate School of Management. This name change serves to reinforce the school's connection to the prestigious Politecnico di Milano ecosystem, emphasising its affiliation with the broader School of Management and its deep ties to the vibrant city of Milan.
