History
Potash Corp was created in 1975 when the Saskatchewan provincial government invited investors to enter and help modernize the province's potash industry. The company began trading publicly as Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan, Inc. on the New York Stock Exchange and spun off its nitrogen business as a separate company in 1995.
