History

Powerchip Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation (PSMC) was founded in 1994 in Taiwan as a spin-off of Powertech Technology Inc. PSMC was established to focus on the development and manufacture of advanced semiconductor solutions, including processes from 3µm to 40nm. Since its inception, PSMC has grown to become one of the world’s leading specialty foundries.
