Further, the company is involved in the wholesale and retail of household goods; production and sale of fried chicken products; manufacture, wholesale, and retail of food products and beverages; and retail of breads and pastries, and daily supplies. As of November 30, 2021, it operated 6,338 stores under the 7-ELEVEN name. President Chain Store Corporation was founded in 1978 and is based in Taipei, Taiwan.

History

President Chain Store (PCSC) was founded in 1969 by CEO Kenneth Tsai, when he spotted an opportunity for a new chain store in Taiwan. Since then, PCSC has grown to become one of the largest and most successful chain stores in Taiwan with over 1500 outlets nationwide. PCSC has a long tradition of introducing innovative and new products to the market, offering its customers the latest and greatest products and services.
