Pure Storage was founded in 2009, in Mountain View, California, USA. It is a publically traded enterprise data storage company founded by John Hayes and John Colgrove. Prior to this, Hayes has co-founded Sunnyvale-based BMC Software, while Colgrove serves as a top engineer at Veritas Software.
