Per Vogue: "The designer concentrated on working around silks, jerseys, tulle, lycra-infused charmeuse, suede and foil-printed chiffon in metallics and pale neutrals… Agarvwal dealt out long goddess-y dresses, contemporary lehengas, cropped jackets, draped pants and saris. Stylists with an eye for the futuristic power-woman vibe will lock onto the chiffon sari teamed with a bustier constructed out of Perspex elements. The gown crafted with acrylic glass and Swarovski beads styled as a goddess-caped gown and lehengas teamed with structured corsets embellished with zardozi and aari work."
Raakesh has also carved a niche in the bridal beget. He tells Wedding Sutra: “We retail our ready-to-wear lines at multi designer stores but for our couture line all interaction is managed from our studio in Noida. Most of my bridal clients prefer to meet me personally." While his attention to detail and mastery over hand embroideries and draping forms his design aesthetic, the luxury fashion brand has continued to grow exponentially over the years with diversification into menswear and the launch of fashion accessories and costume jewellery.
