Reading International, Inc. was incorporated in 1999 and is headquartered in New York, New York.
History

Reading International was founded in 1989 when Reading Company, a U.S. railway station and steamship company purchased Village Cinemas Group in Australia. The company then expanded its operations to the United States in 2011 and opened the world’s first virtual reality cinema in 2017.
