Receptos, Inc. is a biopharmaceutical company focused on discovering, developing and commercializing treatments for immune diseases and cancer.

History

Receptos, Inc. was founded in April 2009. The company has since focused its research and development efforts on the treatment of immune diseases and cancer through targeting the sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P) receptor modulators. Receptos’ clinical compounds target autoimmune diseases and inflammatory conditions, including multiple sclerosis and ulcerative colitis.

Our mission is to discover, develop and commercialize novel treatments for immune-mediated diseases and cancer.

We envision a world in which people affected by immune-mediated diseases and cancer have access to safe, effective and affordable treatments.
