Samkit Sharma is an entrepreneur, techno-savvy, and community leader, sportsman, specialising in innovation management, product evangelism, and technology-driven community building. He is the founder of Hack2skill, India’s largest and fastest-growing community that connects over 5 million technology innovators, including startups, professionals, freelancers, and student innovators, and bridges the gap between emerging talents and the industry, fostering an ecosystem for collaboration and growth.
 

Hack2skill has partnered with over 10,000 institutes, including IITs and NITs, and engaged with more than 10,000 startups. The platform has hosted over 1,000 hackathons, generated 25,000+ ideas, trained more than 75,000 innovators, and organised 5,000+ boot camps, working with brands like Google, Microsoft, Samsung, Unilever, and Snap. Hack2Skill is also a platform partner for the world’s largest innovation model, ‘Smart India Hackathon’, run by the government of India. The event is a premier nationwide initiative designed to engage students in solving some of the most pressing challenges faced every day.
 

He also co-founded IncubateIND, a platform aimed at nurturing the next generation of entrepreneurs through a combination of workshops, mentorship, and networking. IncubateIND hosts various educational workshops on topics like drones, health, bots, and cybersecurity and provides a fertile ground for innovators to collaborate and develop new technologies.

Prior to this, Samkit co-founded Xponential Growth Ventures, where the focus is on building world-class organisations by tapping into grassroots talent in India. Samkit Sharma held leadership positions in ventures, including Vice President at LanCraft, empowering the next generation of gamers, and Director at Indolympix – "The Sports Olympiad," promoting sports and identifying future champions.

Samkit Sharma has been an active speaker at various technology and innovation conferences, where he has shared insights on how innovation can drive global change. Samkit has participated in events like the Web Summit, where he contributed to discussions on SaaS and innovation, and collaborated with organisations such as ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation) for initiatives like the Bharatiya Antariksh Hackathon 2024 (India’s Space Hackathon), aimed at advancing space technology.

Samkit holds a B.Tech in Computer Science from Amity University and completed his High School Education at Vidya Bharti Public School.

Samkit Sharma was born in India. Growing up with a passion for technology, he pursued a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Computer Science at Amity University, where he studied from 2012 to 2016. During his time at Amity, he actively participated in the Lancraft Club, which focused on gaming development and provided him with an early opportunity to explore the intersection of technology and entrepreneurship. This experience sparked his interest in creating platforms that foster innovation and collaboration.
 

After completing his studies, Samkit co-founded Xponential Growth Ventures in 2015. The venture aimed to address gaps in India’s growth story by developing innovative business models and empowering the country's youth. Xponential Growth Ventures focused on leveraging grassroots talent to create world-class organisations. It helped young entrepreneurs develop ideas and solutions in various industries, with a particular emphasis on driving change through technology and innovation. The company aimed to build a better future by using India's demographic potential to create long-term growth in the country.
 

In 2016, Samkit co-founded IncubateIND, a platform designed to foster entrepreneurship and innovation. IncubateIND provided a space for the next generation of innovators to collaborate, discover new ideas, and access the resources needed to turn their ideas into successful ventures. Samkit played a key role in expanding the company's services to various organisations and managing the IT infrastructure and finance operations. IncubateIND also organised educational workshops on topics like drones, cybersecurity, and health, which allowed participants to develop new skills and apply them to real-world projects.
 

In October 2021, Samkit founded Hack2skill, which quickly became one of India’s largest and fastest-growing communities for technology innovators, startups, professionals, and students. Hack2skill connects over 5 million innovators and partners with over 10,000 institutes, including prestigious institutions like IITs and NITs. The platform offers various services, including innovation challenges, hackathons, product evangelism programs, and recruitment challenges, all aimed at helping businesses find and develop new ideas. Hack2skill has collaborated with leading global brands such as Google, Microsoft, Samsung, and Unilever, providing technology solutions across AI, digital transformation, and product development. Hack2skill has hosted over 1,000 hackathons, generated more than 25,000 ideas, and trained 75,000+ innovators.
 

Samkit’s role at Hack2skill includes overseeing the platform’s growth, leading initiatives aimed at product adoption, and recruiting top talent for companies. His leadership has been instrumental in helping Hack2skill identify over 5,000 solutions for 200+ organisations globally, with a 100% placement rate in its hiring challenges.
 

In 2024, Samkit collaborated with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) to organise the Bharatiya Antariksh Hackathon 2024, which focused on advancing space technology. This initiative further showcased his commitment to driving technological innovation not just in India but on a global scale. Additionally, Samkit has been involved in other projects and events that highlight the importance of technology in solving global challenges.

Currently, Samkit Sharma continues to lead Hack2skill, focusing on expanding its global reach and fostering partnerships with more companies and institutions.
