History
Shanghai Commercial & Savings Bank (SCSB) was founded in 1905 by native Taiwanese under Japanese rule. The bank initially focused on providing savings services to small businesses, in order to help farmers save their money with the security of a bank. In the 1950s, SCSB expanded its services and began to offer more conventional banking services. Since then, SCSB has continued to grow and expand its services, forming strategic partnerships and collaborations with other banks and financial institutions.
