Paragon REIT is a Singapore-based real estate investment trust established principally to invest in a portfolio of income-producing real estate primarily for retail purposes in Asia-Pacific, as well as real estate-related assets. Paragon REIT has a portfolio of five assets in Singapore and Australia. Its portfolio of properties in Singapore comprises a 99-year leasehold interest in Paragon, a 99-year leasehold interest in The Clementi Mall and a 99-year leasehold interest in The Rail Mall. These Singapore properties have an aggregate net lettable area of approximately 960,000 sq. ft. In Australia, Paragon REIT owns a 50% freehold interest in Westfield Marion Shopping Centre, the largest regional shopping centre in Adelaide, South Australia. Paragon REIT also owns an 85% interest in Figtree Grove Shopping Centre, a freehold sub-regional shopping centre in Wollongong, New South Wales, Australia. Both Australian properties have an aggregate gross lettable area of approximately 1.7 million sq. ft. The company was formerly known as SPH REIT and changed its name to Paragon REIT in December 2022.
History

SPH REIT Management Pte. Ltd. was set up in February 2014 as an asset manager to manage its subsidiaries, Paragon and Clementi Mall. On 2 July 2014, the trust was listed on the Singapore Exchange with an issue price of SGD 0.88 per unit. The trust was constituted by SPH as the trustee and its subsidiaries, Paragon and Clementi Mall, as the initial two properties. On 3 November 2014, The Rail Mall was acquired. Following the purchase of The Rail Mall, SPH REIT Management Pte. Ltd. became the manager of three properties.

Recognition and Awards
In 2020, SPH Reit received was recognised by the Straits Times Index as the top performing REIT in Singapore and as the only S-REIT listed in the Global Real Estate Sustainable Benchmark for financial performance for three consecutive years. It was also featured in the Global 150 Most Responsible Real Estate Investment index.
