Stradivarius is a fashion brand that brings the latest trends in womenswear and fashion accessories to the youth. It is a  dynamic company that is constantly evolving and embodies a lifestyle in which passion for fashion, style and creativity is the engine. The stores constitute a bright enveloping space where one can find the latest trends. Present in more than seventy countries, Stradivarius has over nine hundred stores and its headquarters and logistic centers are situated in Barcelona.

Developed by Paco Triquell as a womenswear brand, Spanish multinational company Inditex acquired ninety percent of the fashion brand on November 12, 1999 for a reported 108 million euros. The group stated in a release that the purchase was due to the brand's "good commercial positioning and growth potential."

The fashion brand's capacity to read the clients' needs and continually evolve its collections is the key to its success. The company has a team of dedicated designers whose work is to observe the latest trends and reconstruct them into modern styles for the youth. The strategy witnessed unparalleled success! Within a decade Stradivarius opened five hundred stores worldwide.

In 2005 Inditex completed a hundred percent acquisition for a reported fifteen million euros. At the helm of the brand is the founder's son Jordi Triquell. Per Fashion United: "Stradivarius, which is aimed at young women with a passion for trends and creativity, finished 2014 with a turnover of €1.1 billion and more than 900 stores in over 60 different countries. The brand also recently re-designed its entire retail space, focusing on a combination of open spaces and eclectic styles."

In 2017 Stradivarius opened its new offices for design and central services teams in Barcelona. Built with recycled materials.. the building saves forty five percent electricity and thirty percent water and will be given a green certification by LEED with Gold distinction. Today it is Inditex's fifth largest brand in sales volume and is present in sixty-two countries.
