History

Sumitomo Chemical India Pvt. Ltd. (SCI) was established in 2006 as the subsidiary of Sumitomo Chemical Co. Ltd (SCC) of Japan. The main objective of the company was to strengthen the presence of SCC in India and South East Asia. Over the years, Sumitomo has built strong relationships with dealers and farmers in India, and has become a leading player in the crop protection chemical industry.
