Sunil Kumar Gupta

Mr. Sunil Kumar Gupta is a successful entrepreneur, philanthropist, and visionary. He is the leader of the Indo European Business Forum, Founder of the India Global Chamber of Businesses, and Founder Chairman of SARC Associates and SARC Foundation. He is an expert member of the Northern Railway Audit Advisory Board, Life Trustee of Rashtriya Antyodaya Sangh, a Public Charitable Trust, and a member of several prestigious organizations such as Delhi & District Cricket Association and National Sports Club of India. He holds various memberships, including the Indian Council of Arbitration and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda.

Under Mr. Gupta's leadership, SARC & Associates is the Statutory Central Auditor of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited, Indian Overseas Bank, and SBI General Insurance Co Limited, and is the Concurrent Auditor of Reserve Bank of India. The firm has also carried out the Statutory Audits of various Scheduled Commercial Banks.

Mr. Gupta is the Non-Executive Chairman of National Co-operative Bank Limited, New Delhi, and has appeared in two business shows to educate the youth about government schemes/initiatives for the MSME sector, Make in India, Skill India, Start-Up India, Stand-Up India, Mudra Yojana, and Credit Guarantee Fund. He has been a part of several international delegations and authored multiple books, including 'Make in India', 'Window to Success- An Insight into MSME Sector,' and 'Moving towards a $10 trillion economy: India 2030.'

Mr. Sunil Kumar Gupta has been recognized for his outstanding contributions in the field of finance, business, and social service. He was conferred with the prestigious 'Bharat Gaurav Award' in 2019 for his exemplary work in promoting entrepreneurship and business growth in India. He has also been awarded the 'Udyog Rattan Award' by the Institute of Economic Studies in recognition of his exceptional achievements in the field of business and industry. In addition, he has received numerous other accolades for his contributions to the finance sector, including the 'Excellence Award' by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).

Born in Delhi, India, Gupta completed his Chartered Accountancy from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and also holds a Post Qualification Diploma in Information Systems Audit. Gupta is a Fellow Member of ICAI and the Indian Council of Arbitration. He is also a Full Member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (CPA-U) and holds a Certificate in International Taxation from Vienna University, Vienna, Austria.

He is the leader of the Indo-European Business Forum (IEBF) and the Founder of the India Global Chamber of Businesses. Mr. Gupta is also the Founder Chairman of SARC Associates and SARC Foundation, which provides professional services in audit, taxation, and financial management.

Under the leadership of Mr. Gupta, SARC Associates has successfully carried out the Statutory Audits of various Scheduled Commercial Banks like State Bank of India (SBI), Punjab National Bank (PNB), Bank of Baroda (BOB), Canara Bank, Bank of India, and Corporation Bank. Gupta has also served as the Concurrent Auditor of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and the Statutory Central Auditor of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), Indian Overseas Bank (IOB), and SBI General Insurance Co Limited. Gupta is an Expert Member of Northern Railway Audit Advisory Board (constituted by CA&AG) and is a Life Trustee of Rashtriya Antyodaya Sangh, a Public Charitable Trust.

Mr. Gupta has served as the Non-Executive Chairman of National Co-operative Bank Limited, New Delhi for a period of seven years (2000-2007), during which the bank was awarded as the ‘Best Co-operative Bank’ in the year 2006 by the then Chief Minister of the Government of Delhi. He has also been a Member of Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) and a Life Member of Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA) and National Sports Club of India (NSCI).

Mr. Gupta is a prolific author and has written several books on business and finance, including Make in India, Window to Success- An Insight into MSME Sector, North East – The Land of Rising Opportunities, and Moving towards a $10 trillion economy: India 2030, among others. He has also appeared in two highly recognized and much appreciated business shows, namely, ‘Business Inside’ on DD National (Doordarshan) and ‘Big Business Ideas’ on Zee Business, which garnered more than eight crore viewership during the 104 weeks of telecast and were among the highest TRP rated shows.

For his contributions to the business and finance sector, Mr. Gupta has received numerous awards and recognition, including the prestigious Business Leader Award by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Lifetime Achievement Award by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda, and Bharat Gaurav Award by the India International Friendship Society, among others. Gupta continues to inspire the youth and emerging entrepreneurs in India and around the world through his vision, leadership, and philanthropy.
