History

Synchronoss was founded in 2000 by Stephen Waldis and Lawrence Rentz. In 2005, the company started providing hosted services to communication service providers and by 2009, it had over 80 million subscribers. By 2012, the company was providing cloud solutions and services to over 300 million subscribers in North America and around the world. In 2013, the company launched its own ‘Personal Cloud’ offering and now has more than 450 million subscribers.
