History

TalkTalk was founded in 2003 by Sir Charles Dunstone, who is currently the executive chairman. The company was originally launched as a branch of Carphone Warehouse, one of the UK’s leading mobile provider and retail chains. In 2010, TalkTalk separated from Carphone Warehouse and became an independent company. Later, the company acquired Tiscali, a leading broadband provider, in 2009 and then acquired Blinkbox, a digital video-on-demand service provider, in 2014, to increase its media services. The company also offers a range of other services such as digital phone services, online storage, security, and mobile phones.
