Telenet Group Holding NV was founded in 1994 and is headquartered in Mechelen, Belgium. Telenet Group Holding NV is a subsidiary of Liberty Global plc.
History

Telenet was founded in 1995. In the early days, the company was focused on cable television in the Flemish region, with a monopoly on the market. It has since grown to become one of the largest companies in Belgium, offering services such as broadband internet, fixed and mobile telephony, and cable television.
