Further, it is involved in the logistics, information-related services, sales promotion, and insurance agency businesses. Additionally, the company imports and sells fine chemical products, including oil for industrial and cosmetic uses, MCTs, etc.; manufactures and sells palm oil and specialty fats, chocolate products for commercial use, and vegetable oils; and manufactures confectionery supplies. The Nisshin OilliO Group,Ltd. was incorporated in 1907 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
History

Nisshin Oillio Group began in 1896 as a hemp wholesaler, and in 1904 became a producer of refined cottonseed oil. In 1937, the company was incorporated as the Nisshin Oil Mill Co., Ltd., and continued to expand into niche markets for vegetable oil-based products. In 1969, the company shifted its focus to food-related products, further diversifying its product lines. In 1983, the Nisshin Group Reorganization Law was passed and the group saw its food products division, Nisshin Oil Mill, cooperate with Nisshin Foods Co., Ltd., Nisshin Confectionery Co., Ltd., and Nisshin Corn Products Co., Ltd.
