Biography

Tom Kiddle began his career as a Lead Developer at Bonsai Branding in Perth, Australia, where he worked from January 2010 to December 2011. He then moved to the United Kingdom to join the National Film & Television School as a Software Engineer, where he contributed for five months until April 2012.

Subsequently, he took on the role of UI Engineer at BT Fresca, a position he held from August to November 2012 before becoming an Engineering Manager at BT Expedite, overseeing projects for a year and three months until January 2014. During his tenure at BT Expedite, he was promoted to Senior Software Engineer, leading a team to build e-commerce and payment solutions for major European retailers until September 2014.

In September 2014, Kiddle transitioned to a Contract Front End Developer role at Glasses Direct on Oxford Street, London, contributing to their software engineering efforts for eight months. Concurrently, he founded LazyPixel, a digital product design and build agency, and managed it full-time from July 2014 to June 2016. His next significant role was at Apple, where he worked as a Senior Software Engineer from May 2015 to August 2017, driving multiple projects from proof of concept to production using the latest advancements in real-time technology stacks.

In August 2017, Kiddle joined Ripple's London office as the first engineer. Over his four years and nine months tenure at Ripple, he progressed from Senior Software Engineer to Staff Software Engineer. He played a pivotal role in building and delivering key products such as RippleNet v4, On-Demand Liquidity, and Liquidity Hub, scaling their total value locked from zero to billions.

In April 2022, Tom Kiddle founded Palisade Inc in London, where he currently serves as the founder, continuing his journey of innovation and leadership in the technology sector.
