Thunderbird Resorts was founded in 1987 as a hospitality services provider. The company initially operated a small number of small-scale resorts in the western part of the US. Its flagship Thunderbird Resorts and Casinos in Peru, Costa Rica, Paraguay, Colombia, Ecuador, and the Philippines.
