Tim Swanson

Tim Swanson is a thought leader in the blockchain community and author of three books, currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He has extensive experience working in East Asia, having spent more than six years there. He was previously a fellow at the Singapore University of Social Sciences and the Sim Kee Boon Institute at Singapore Management University. Swanson was the first advisor at Hyperledger, an advisor at Clearmatics, and a consultant with Elm Labs. He was most recently the director of market research at R3, the first blockchain enterprise consortium for the financial services industry.

At R3, Swanson assessed several hundred entities, including companies, startups, and universities, working on some type of blockchain initiative.
